The non-local thermodynamic equilibrium barium abundance in dwarf stars in the metallicity range of −1 < [Fe/H] < +0.3
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of determination of the barium abundance considering the non-local thermodynamic equilibrium (NLTE) effects in 172 dwarf stars in the metallicity range of −1 < [Fe/H] < +0.3, assigned to different Galactic substructures by kinematic criteria.

The copper and zinc abundances in stars of galactic sub-structures
TL;DR: In this paper, the abundances of copper, zinc, sodium, and aluminum in the atmospheres of 172 F, G, and K dwarf stars were determined in an LTE approximation; the synthetic spectrum for the copper lines was calculated taking into account super-fine structure of the lines.

Enrichment of the Galactic disc with neutron-capture elements: Mo and Ru
T. V. Mishenina,Marco Pignatari,Marco Pignatari,Marco Pignatari,T. I. Gorbaneva,Claudia Travaglio,Benoit Côté,Benoit Côté,Friedrich-Karl Thielemann,Caroline Soubiran +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented new observational data for the heavy elements molybdenum and ruthenium in F-, G-, and K-stars belonging to different substructures of the Milky Way.

Determinations of high-precision effective temperatures for giants based on spectroscopic criteria
TL;DR: In this paper, a set of 100 equations relating Teff to the line-depth ratios, calibrated against accurate (to within 1%) published temperature determinations for giants, are used to determine very accurate temperatures for a sample of 110 giants.

T. V. Mishenina,E. Shereta,Marco Pignatari,G. Carraro,T. I. Gorbaneva,Caroline Soubiran +5 more
- 01 Jan 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, high-resolution stellar spectra were obtained using the VLT telescope equipped with the UVES spectrograph on Cerro Paranal, Chile, to determine molybdenum abundances in the stars from 13 different open clusters.
