Applications of X-ray nuclear resonant scattering with the use of synchrotron radiation
Seishi Kikuta,Yoshitaka Yoda,I. Koyama,T. Shimizu,H. Igarashi,Koichi Izumi,Y. Kunimune,Makoto Seto,T. Mitsui,T. Harami,Xiaowei Zhang,Masami Ando +11 more
TL;DR: Theoretical and experimental studies on nuclear resonant scattering with synchrotron radiation have been carried out extensively and new fields of applications have been developed as discussed by the authors, as follows: 1) Nuclear excitation of Dy161 and Eu151 nuclei by using L X-rays emitted in the internal conversion process.

Optics of nuclear diffraction with synchrotron radiation using α-57Fe2O3 single crystals
Carlos Kenichi Suzuki,Yoshitaka Yoda,X. W. Zhang,H. Sugiyama,Koichi Izumi,T. Ishikawa,T. Matsuchita,Masami Ando,Humihiko Takei,T. Harami,H. Ohno,Seishi Kikuta +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the development of crystal optics using nuclear monochromators is described, and topographic images of α-57Fe20 nuclear diffraction has been observed, with a counting rate as high as 20,000 cps at the accumulation ring AR of TRISTAN, KEK.

Two-photon correlations in X-rays from a synchrotron radiation source.
Y. Kunimune,Yoshitaka Yoda,Koichi Izumi,Makina Yabashi,Xiaowei Zhang,T. Harami,Masami Ando,Seishi Kikuta +7 more
TL;DR: The high brilliance of synchrotron radiation available in the Tristan main ring enables the observation of two-photon correlations with a reasonable measurement time.
