Absence de sensibilité à l'hyperthermie maligne peranesthésique chez 32 patients ayant développé un syndrome malin des neuroleptiques
N. Bello,P. Adnet,F. Saulnier,P. Lestavel,C. Adnet-Bonte,H. Reyford,T. Etchrivi,B. Tavernier,R. Krivosic-Horber +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors verify whether a relationship exists between neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) and anaesthetic-induced malignant hyperthermia (MH) or not.

Isoform-dependent effects of halothane in human skinned striated fibers.
TL;DR: It is concluded that the negative inotropic effects of halothane depend on contractile proteins isoforms and decreases Calcium sup ++ sensitivity and maximal force in human skinned cardiac and type I fibers at 20 degrees Celsius.
7
In Vitro Human Masseter Muscle Hypersensitivity: A Possible Explanation for Increase in Masseter Tone
TL;DR: The results suggest that the increase in caffeine sensitivity of masseter muscle reflects the presence of a low reactivity threshold of the sarcoplasmic reticulum.

Effects of halothane on mechanical response of skeletal muscle from malignant hyperthermia susceptible patients.
TL;DR: The results suggest that halothane alters the relaxation phase more than the contraction phase in MH human skeletal muscle compared to normal muscle.
6
Shortening velocity of skeletal muscle from humans with malignant hyperthermia susceptibility: effects of halothane
T. Etchrivi,G. Haudecoeur,Isabelle Stix,Hugo Reyford,Benoı̂t Tavernier,Renee Krivosic-Horber,Pascal J Adnet +6 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that halothane alters the contractile properties of malignant hyperthermia susceptibility muscle.
