Mary Gospodarowicz,N.V. Hawkins,G.A. Rawlings,J.G. Connolly,Michael A.S. Jewett,Gillian Thomas,J.G. Herman,P.G. Garrett,T. Chua,W. Duncan,Martin B. Buckspan,Linda Sugar,W.D. Rider +12 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that factors other than stage and grade influence prognosis in invasive bladder cancer and should be considered in interpreting treatment results.

Prognostic factors in nodular lymphomas: A multivariate analysis based on the Princess Margaret Hospital experience☆
TL;DR: Patients with Stage I & II disease, small or medium bulk, less than 70 years of age achieved 92% 12 year actuarial survival and a 73% relapse-free rate in 12 years of follow-up, which represent groups highly curable with irradiation.

Results of treating Hodgkin's disease without a policy of laparotomy staging.
D. E. Bergsagel,R E Alison,H A Bean,T C Brown,R S Bush,Clark Rm,T. Chua,Dalley D,Gerrit DeBoer,Gospodarowicz M,Hasselback R,Perrault D,D. F. Rideout +12 more
TL;DR: Observations provide indirect evidence that relapse has a negative effect on prognosis, and that the initial treatment of patients with Hodgkin's disease should be designed to reduce the risk of relapse to a minimum without causing an unacceptable increase in late complications.

Curability of gastrointestinal lymphoma with combined surgery and radiation.
TL;DR: Patients with Stage IA and IIA with gross residual lysphoma less than 212 em in diameter treated with post-operative abdominal irradiation achieved 85% 10 years failure-free rate and 88% 10 year actuarial cause specific survival.

Analysis of supradiaphragmatic clinical stage I and II Hodgkin's disease treated with radiation alone.
Mary Gospodarowicz,S B Sutcliffe,Clark Rm,A.J. Dembo,P.J. Fitzpatrick,A.J. Munro,D. E. Bergsagel,B. Patterson,Richard W. Tsang,T. Chua,R.S. Bush +10 more
TL;DR: This study validated a previously developed model for the selection of clinically staged patients with Stage I and II Hodgkin's disease for treatment with radiation alone and found that careful selection can yield excellent results without requiring that staging laparotomy be routinely performed or the use of systemic chemotherapy as the initial treatment.
