Energy costs are the key factors regarding the selection of appropriate renewable energy (RWG) alternatives. All costs of a power plant, such as investment, operation, maintenance, and repair are considered in the scope of levelized costs. Therefore, for the effective determination of the selling price of the energy, levelized cost has a guiding role. Because the levelized costs of RWG alternatives develop the sustainable production and energy consumption for the long term, the leading indicators of these costs should be analyzed significantly. Accordingly, in this study, it is aimed to investigate the levelized cost of RWG alternatives by using bipolar q-rung orthopair fuzzy (q-ROF) hybrid decision-making approach. The novelty of this study is to recommend an integrated decision-making model based on bipolar and q-ROFSs with golden cut. At the first stage, bipolar q-ROF multi stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis (M-SWARA) is employed for weighting the selected criteria of levelized costs of RWG alternatives. At the following stage, bipolar q-ROF technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is considered to rank the alternatives in terms of the levelized cost performance. On the other side, vise kriterijumska optimizacija i kompromisno resenje (VIKOR) model is also considered to rank the alternatives. In addition to this issue, the sensitivity analysis is also performed with four cases comparatively. Hence, consistency, reliability and coherency of the proposed model can be measured. It is identified that capacity loss has the greatest importance regarding the levelized cost of RWG projects. Solar is found as the best clean energy type with respect to the levelized cost management performance. In this context, it would be appropriate for investors to design projects close to the center. This will contribute to increasing the efficiency and productivity of these projects.

This study aims to evaluate the significant risks in geothermal energy investments. For this purpose, a model is suggested by considering the Spherical fuzzy DEMATEL technique. With the help of the literature examination, eight important risks are identified for these projects. In the following step, their weights are calculated so that more significant risk issues can be understood. Another calculation is also performed by triangular fuzzy DEMATEL to check the consistency of the analysis results. The results of both Spherical and triangular fuzzy DEMATEL techniques are similar. The most essential risk issues are the same for both methods that demonstrate the validity of the findings. The results indicate that the risk of accidents because of incorrect design‐material use has the greatest importance since it has the highest weight. Moreover, the risks of decreased water resources and pollution of them also play a significant role in this regard. Great attention should be paid to the quality of the material to be used in geothermal energy facilities. Otherwise, there is a risk of explosion and fire in the facility. These problems threaten the lives of many people. In this process, states also have very important duties. Some standards should be determined for the quality of the material used in these facilities. In addition, the compliance of the quality of these materials with the regulations should be checked with the routine inspections. This situation will minimize the risk of accidents due to using poor‐quality materials.

Strategy improvements to minimize the drawbacks of geothermal investments by using spherical fuzzy modelling

Abstract In recent years, there has been a significant focus on bioactive dressings suitable for treating chronic and acute wounds. Electrospinning nanofibers are considered advanced dressing options due to their high porosity and permeability to air and water, effective barrier properties against external pathogens, and excellent resemblance to the extracellular matrix for wound healing and skin regeneration. This article reviews the recent advancements in the application of electrospinning nanofibers for bioactive wound healing. The review begins with an overview of the wound healing process and electrospinning methods. It then explores the advantages and disadvantages of different synthetic and natural polymers used in the preparation of electrospinning wound dressings. The natural polymers discussed in this review include collagen, gelatin, silk fibroin, chitosan, hyaluronic acid, and sodium alginate. Additionally, the review delves into commonly used synthetic polymers like polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene lactone, polylactide, and polyurethane for wound dressing applications. Furthermore, the review examines the blending of natural and synthetic polymers to create high‐performance wound dressings. It also explores the incorporation of functional additives, such as antimicrobial agents, growth factors, and natural extracts, into electrospinning nanofibers to expedite wound healing and tissue repair. In conclusion, electrospinning is an emerging technology that provides unique opportunities for designing more effective wound dressings and care products.
