Transmission Line Fault Detection: A Review
TL;DR: This paper presents a review of transmission line fault detection, a very focusing issue in power system engineering to clear fault in short time and re-establish power system as quickly as possible on very minimum interruption.

Kah Haw Law,Mohamed Dahidah,Sy Yi Sim,Wendy Pei Qin Ng,Ammar Masaoud,Ahmed Abu-Siada +5 more
- 01 Oct 2018
TL;DR: This paper proposed a single-phase qZSI with lead compensator in the control system driven by unipolar carrier based pulse width modulation (CB-PWM) technique that demonstrates its superiority for theqZSI to achieve good dynamic, steady-state, and transient performances under both the continuous conduction mode (CCM) and discontinuous conduction modes (DCM) operations.

Speed Tracking of Indirect Field Oriented Control Induction Motor Using Neural Network
Azuwien Aida Bohari,Wahyu Mulyo Utomo,Zainal Alam Haron,Nooradzianie Muhd. Zin,Sy Yi Sim,Roslina Mat Ariff +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a neural network-based indirect field oriented control (NNIFOC) of induction motor (IM) drive is presented. And the simulation results show that the proposed NNIFOC schemes of IM drive is more effective and found a proper replacement of the proportional integral derivative (PID) controller.

Predictive Direct Power Control (PDPC) of Grid-connected Dual-active Bridge Multilevel Inverter (DABMI)
TL;DR: In this article, a grid-connected dual-active bridge multilevel inverter for renewable energy integration is presented, where the concept of direct power control is integrated with model predictive control algorithm, which is termed as Predictive Direct Power Control, to control the real and reactive power injected into the power grid.

Modeling of A Single Phase 7-Level Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter
Yonis.M.Yonis Buswig,Wahyu Mulyo Utomo,Abu Bakar Afarulrazi,Alias Suhaila,Sy Yi Sim,Setiawan Muhammad Ikhsan,Sri Wiwoho Mudjanarko,Sukoco Agus,Taufik Taufik +8 more
TL;DR: The result show that the 7-level cascaded H-Bridge multilevel inverter with phase disposition technique generate less total harmonic distortion if it is compared to the phase opposition disposition technique.
