A unique aptamer-drug conjugate for targeted therapy of multiple myeloma.
TL;DR: SF was supported by Progetto di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale (PRIN 2009) from Ministero Italiano dell' Università e della Ricerca (MIUR) and Fondazione Neoplasie del Sangue (FO. SA), Torino, Italy.

The survival impact of CKS1B gains or amplification is dependent on the background karyotype and TP53 deletion status in patients with myeloma.
Suyang Hao,Xinyan Lu,Zimu Gong,Roland L. Bassett,Shimin Hu,Sergej Konoplev,Guilin Tang,Shaoying Li,Jie Xu,Mahsa Khanlari,Hans C. Lee,Elisabet E. Manasanch,Donna M. Weber,Robert Z. Orlowski,L. Jeffrey Medeiros,Pei Lin +15 more
TL;DR: The findings indicate that the inferior outcome of myeloma patients with CKS1B gain/amp is attributable to the high number of high-risk patients in this group, as well as the background karyotype and TP53 status.

Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-negative anaplastic large cell lymphoma with MYC rearrangement.
Mahsa Khanlari,Guilin Tang,Suyang Hao,Yun Gong,Shaoying Li,Roberto N. Miranda,Pei Lin,Swaminathan P. Iyer,Cameron C. Yin,Wei Xie,Francisco Vega,L. J. Medeiros,Jie Xu +12 more
TL;DR: Two patients with MYC-R ALK-negative ALCL are described, one of whom also had concurrent dual specificity phosphatase 22 (D USP22) rearrangement (DUSP22-R).

Additional-structural-chromosomal aberrations are associated with inferior clinical outcome in patients with hyperdiploid multiple myeloma: a single-institution experience.
Adrian A. Carballo-Zarate,L. Jeffrey Medeiros,Lianghua Fang,Jatin J. Shah,Donna M. Weber,Sheeba K. Thomas,Elisabet E. Manasanch,Suyang Hao,Qi Shen,Robert Z. Orlowski,Pei Lin,Xinyan Lu,Xinyan Lu +12 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that hyperdiploid karyotype with ≥2 additional–structural–chromosomal aberrations at chromosomal level should be considered an independent high-risk factor in multiple myeloma and a greater number of additional– Structural– Chromosomal Aberrations predicts poorer clinical outcome.
Whole-arm translocation of der(5;17)(p10;q10) with concurrent TP53 mutations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS): A unique molecular-cytogenetic subgroup.
Ming Hong,Ming Hong,Suyang Hao,Keyur P. Patel,Hagop M. Kantarjian,Guillermo Garcia-Manero,C. Cameron Yin,L. Jeffrey Medeiros,Pei Lin,Xinyan Lu +9 more
TL;DR: The der(5;17)(p10;q10) represents a unique molecular-cytogenetic subgroup in t-MNs and, associated with complex karyotypes, likely contributes to the poor clinical outcome of these patients.
