Redirection policies for mission-based information sharing
David Keppler,Vipin Swarup,Sushil Jajodia +2 more
- 07 Jun 2006
TL;DR: This paper extends the Flexible Authorization Framework with predicates and hierarchies that permit us to specify authorization rules over denied requests and mission-specific relationships and illustrates the techniques using a prototypical information sharing scenario, namely an emergency first-responder scenario.

Exclusive Strategy for Generalization Algorithms in Micro-data Disclosure
Lei Zhang,Lingyu Wang,Sushil Jajodia,Alexander Brodsky +3 more
- 13 Jul 2008
TL;DR: It is shown that the computation of the estimation is inherently a recursive process that exhibits a high complexity when generalization algorithms take a straightforward inclusive strategy and an alternative exclusive strategy is suggested, which adopts a seemingly drastic approach to eliminate the need for recursion.
A checksum-based corruption detection technique
TL;DR: A technique called Check2 is presented that also relies on signatures for detecting corruption of files and guarantees that any change of a file and the corresponding signature will require an attacker to perform a very lengthy chain of precise changes to successfully complete the corruption in an undetected manner.

A formal framework for single level decomposition of multilevel relations
Sushil Jajodia,Ravi Sandhu +1 more
- 12 Jun 1990
TL;DR: The authors formalize the relationship that exists between the decomposition-independent filtered relations and the multilevel relations obtained from decomposed single level relations using the recovery algorithm.

Sushil Jajodia,Javier Lopez +1 more
- 01 Jan 2008
TL;DR: Security Provisioning in Pervasive Environments Using Multi-objective Optimization and Improved Security Notions and Protocols for Non-transferable Identification are improved.
