Angular momentum gated giant dipole resonance measurements in the reaction 28 Si + 58 Ni at E ( 28 Si ) = 100 and 125 MeV
S.K. Rathi,D. R. Chakrabarty,V. M. Datar,Suresh Kumar,E. T. Mirgule,Abhas Mitra,V. Nanal,H.H. Oza +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured high-energy rays in the energy range of ∼4-35 µV and ∼1.5 µV with a multiplicity detector array in the reaction of the giant dipole resonance.

R. Chakrabarti,S. Mukhopadhyay Krishichayan,A. Chakraborty,A. Ghosh,Sudatta Ray,S.S. Ghugre,A.K. Sinha,L. Chaturvedi,A. Y. Deo,Indranil Mazumdar,P. K. Joshi,R. Palit,Z. Naik,Suresh Kumar,N. Madhavan,R. P. Singh,S. Muralithar,B. K. Yogi,U. Garg +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the first observation of high-spin states in nuclei in the vicinity of the island of inversion, populated via the 18O+18O fusion reaction at an incident beam energy of 34 MeV.

Inhomogeneous and intrinsic damping of giant dipole resonance in hot rotating nuclei with A ~ 150
D. R. Chakrabarty,D. R. Chakrabarty,V. M. Datar,V. M. Datar,Suresh Kumar,Suresh Kumar,E. T. Mirgule,Abhas Mitra,V. Nanal,R. G. Pillay,P. C. Rout,P. C. Rout +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the centroid energy and width of the giant dipole resonance were extracted for various multiplicity windows from the statistical model analysis, and the results showed that the contributions from both the inhomogeneous damping and the intrinsic collisional damping processes should be included.
