A deep learning based approach for automatic detection of COVID-19 cases using chest X-ray images.
Abhijit Bhattacharyya,Abhijit Bhattacharyya,Divyanshu Bhaik,Sunil Kumar,Prayas Thakur,Rahul Sharma,Ram Bilas Pachori +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new method for detecting COVID-19 and pneumonia using chest X-ray images was proposed, which can be described as a three-step process and achieved the highest testing classification accuracy of 96.6% using the VGG-19 model associated with the binary robust invariant scalable key-points (BRISK) algorithm.

Intrusion detection in mobile ad hoc networks: techniques, systems, and future challenges
Sunil Kumar,Kamlesh Dutta +1 more
TL;DR: A structured and comprehensive survey of most prominent intrusion detection techniques of recent past and present for MANETs in accordance with technology layout and detection algorithms is provided.

Hybrid Algorithm to Detect DDoS Attacks in VANETs
TL;DR: The experimental results show that the model based on the proposed hybrid algorithm is superior to detect DDoS attacks as compared to the models based on single SVM kernel algorithms AnovaDot and RBFDot, and prove that by combining the the SVMkernel algorithms, an efficient and effective hybrid algorithm can be developed.

Implementation of electronic load controller for control of micro hydro power plant
Shailendra Kumar Rai,O. P. Rahi,Sunil Kumar +2 more
- 27 Mar 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, the use of an ELC for synchronous generator of micro hydro power plant of rating 60 KW in MATLAB Simulink has been discussed, where the design of ELC using a controlled bridge rectifier and IGBT chopper feeding a resistive dump load has been implemented for simulation.

Exergetic performance estimation for roughened triangular duct used in solar air heaters
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of different roughness geometries on the exergy efficiency of a solar air heater is investigated, and it is concluded that the exergetic efficiency found in semicircular ribbed SAH is 26% higher than that of square roughness at e/D and p/e value of 0.04 and 10, respectively.
