Oral administration of graphene oxide nano-sheets induces oxidative stress, genotoxicity, and behavioral teratogenicity in Drosophila melanogaster
Subhashree Priyadarsini,Shraban Kumar Sahoo,Swetapadma Sahu,Sumit Mukherjee,G. Hota,Monalisa Mishra +5 more
TL;DR: For the first time, oral administration of GO is found which acts as a mutagen and causes various behavioral and developmental defects in the offspring of Drosophila melanogaster.

Wood-Based Cellulose Nanofibrils: Haemocompatibility and Impact on the Development and Behaviour of Drosophila melanogaster
Pawan Kumar Mishra,Adam Ekielski,Sumit Mukherjee,Swetapadma Sahu,Saptarshi Chowdhury,Monalisa Mishra,Sushama Talegaonkar,Lubna Siddiqui,Harshita Mishra +8 more
- 13 Aug 2019
TL;DR: Results suggest that cellulose nanofibres have no significant cytotoxic effects on Drosophila, and developmental and behavioural abnormalities suggest that CNF may act as a behavioural teratogen.
