TL;DR: Assessing properties and impacts of pristine volcanic material depositions on soil properties and management options for restoring the affected agroecosytem showed that uneven distribution of rainfall at the time of violent eruption caused the areas receiving mud ashfall developed surface encrustation, which was not occur in areas receiving dry ashfall.
