Arsenic accumulating and transforming bacteria isolated from contaminated soil for potential use in bioremediation.
TL;DR: These new bacterial strains that are capable of removing arsenic from the environment could conveniently be used for bioremediation of soil and effluents and the enzymes produced by them may be used by them for commercial exploitation.

Excitation wavelength dependent UV fluorescence of dispersed modified graphene oxide: Effect of pH
Partha Dutta,Debabrata Nandi,Sudeshna Datta,Subhajit Chakraborty,Nilimesh Das,Shovon Chatterjee,Uday Chand Ghosh,Arnab Halder +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an aqueous dispersion of modified graphene oxide exhibits a broad fluorescence in the UV region as a result of modulation in electronic band structure due to the small isolated sp 2 carbon clusters containing about 10 aromatic rings isolated within sp 3 C-O matrix and the presence of oxygen containing functional groups at the GO surface.

pH dependent tunable photoluminescence of Polyaniline grafted Graphene Oxide (GO–PANI) nanocomposite
Prosenjit Saha,Dinesh Kumar Pyne,Madhubonti Pal,Sudeshna Datta,Prabir Kumar Das,Partha Dutta,Arnab Halder +6 more
TL;DR: Aqueous dispersion of GO-PANI (pH=4.6) shows dual fluorescence at 345 nm and 405 nm upon excitation at 280 nm indicating the presence of two emissive moieties as mentioned in this paper.

Temperature-Dependent Conductivity of Graphene Oxide and Graphene Oxide-Polyaniline Nanocomposites Studied by Terahertz Time-Domain Spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this paper, the temperature-dependent conductivity of graphene oxide and polyaniline (GO-PANI) nanocomposites was studied by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) from 78 to 293 K.
