Lipid rafts in higher plant cells: purification and characterization of Triton X-100-insoluble microdomains from tobacco plasma membrane.
Sébastien Mongrand,Johanne Morel,Jeanny Laroche,Stéphane Claverol,Jean-Pierre Carde,Marie-Andrée Hartmann,Marc Bonneu,Françoise Simon-Plas,René Lessire,Jean-Jacques Bessoule +9 more
TL;DR: The data clearly indicate that tobacco microdomains are able to recruit a specific set of the plasma membrane proteins and exclude others, and it is demonstrated the recruitment of the NADPH oxidase after elicitation by cryptogein and the presence of the small G protein NtRac5, a negative regulator of NADPH oxidation, in lipid rafts.

Specific Membrane Lipid Composition Is Important for Plasmodesmata Function in Arabidopsis
Magali S. Grison,Magali S. Grison,Lysiane Brocard,Lysiane Brocard,Laetitia Fouillen,Laetitia Fouillen,William J Nicolas,William J Nicolas,Vera Wewer,Peter Dörmann,Houda Nacir,Houda Nacir,Yoselin Benitez-Alfonso,Stéphane Claverol,Véronique Germain,Véronique Germain,Yohann Boutté,Yohann Boutté,Sébastien Mongrand,Sébastien Mongrand,Emmanuelle Bayer,Emmanuelle Bayer +21 more
TL;DR: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the lipid constituents of PD and identifies a role for sterols in modulating cell-to-cell connectivity, possibly by establishing and maintaining the positional specificity of callose-modifying glycosylphosphatidylinositol proteins at PD.
Mapping the proteome of poplar and application to the discovery of drought-stress responsive proteins.

TL;DR: The function of up‐ and down‐regulated proteins is discussed with respect to the physiological response of the plants and compared with transcriptomic data.

TL;DR: This first, community-based harmonization study onXL-MS is based on the results of 32 groups participating worldwide and builds the framework for establishing best practice guidelines to conduct cross-linking experiments, perform data analysis, and define reporting formats with the ultimate goal of assisting scientists to generate accurate and reproducible XL-MS results.

TL;DR: It is shown that the multiple C2 domains and transmembrane region protein (MCTP) family, key regulators of cell‐to‐cell signalling in plants, act as ER‐PM tethers specifically at plasmodesmata.
