Analytic theory of multicavity klystrons
TL;DR: In this paper , an analytic theory of multicavity klystron (MCK) operating in voltage amplification mode associated with the maximal gain is presented, which features exact formulas for the MCK instability frequencies, its dispersion relations and optimal values of the klystrons parameters providing for maximal gain.
