The graptolite, conodont and sedimentary record through the late Ludlow Kozlowskii Event (Silurian) in the shale-dominated succession of Bohemia
TL;DR: In this paper, the Ludfordian graptolite biozones are recognized in the southwestern part of the Prague Synform, between the Bohemograptus tenuis Biozone and the base of the Pridoli Series.

Environmental and biotic changes in subtropical isolated carbonate platforms during the Late Silurian Kozlowskii Event, Prague Basin
Štěpán Manda,Jiří Kříž +1 more
TL;DR: The Kozlowskii Event as discussed by the authors is the most prominent extinction event among Ludfordian extinctions by its short duration and changes in community structure in both nektonic, pelagic and benthic faunas of different depth zones.

Magnetic scanning and interpretation of paleomagnetic data from Prague Synform’s volcanics
Gunther Kletetschka,Gunther Kletetschka,Petr Schnabl,Kristýna Šifnerová,Zuzana Tasáryová,Štěpán Manda,Petr Pruner +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three different magnetic textures were seen and when combined with optical imaging could be related to petrological features, including the presence of magnetic anisotropy of igneous origin.
Late Emsian Rutoceratoidea (Nautiloidea) from the Prague Basin, Czech Republic: morphology, diversity and palaeoecology
Štěpán Manda,Vojtěch Turek +1 more
TL;DR: Morphology and distribution patterns of Pragian and late Emsian rutoceratoid faunas from the Pra- gue Basin are compared and show that an increased diver- sity was accompanied by a higher level of specialization of rutokeratoids, which manifested itself in low abundance, increased facies dependence and greater variation in shell size during the Early Devonian.
