Numerical and Experimental Investigation of the Channel Expansion of a Low-Energy Spark in the Air
TL;DR: In this article, the channel expansion of a low-energy spark in the air after the spark breakdown that resulted in the formation of the initial arc channel was studied in terms of channel expansion.

Precise triggering of electrical discharges by ultraviolet laser radiation for the investigation of ignition processes
TL;DR: In this paper, a pulsed laser was used to generate free electrons in the spark gap to initiate a discharge, and a sufficient number of free electrons were generated in the gap to achieve a high reproducibility of discharge.
