Polycomblike PHD fingers mediate conserved interaction with enhancer of zeste protein.
TL;DR: PCL·E(Z) interaction is shown to be mediated by the plant homeodomain fingers domain of PCL, providing evidence that this motif can act as an independent protein interaction domain, and the possibility that PCL may either be a subunit of a subset of ESC·E (Z) complexes or a sub unit of a separate complex that interacts with ESC· E( Z) complexes.

The identification and localization of a human gene with sequence similarity to Polycomblike of Drosophila melanogaster.
TL;DR: The isolation and characterization of a human cDNA is reported, termed PHF1, which encodes a protein with significant sequence similarity to Drosophila Polycomblike (PCL), which is not a clear candidate gene for any of the genetic diseases likely to result from developmental abnormalities.

Rapid screening for protein interactors using in vitro-translated protein and an expression library

TL;DR: A simple and rapid system for detecting protein binding partners that does not rely on a transcriptional assay but still provides a cDNA clone encoding the interacting protein.

Drosophila starvin Encodes a Tissue-Specific BAG-Domain Protein Required for Larval Food Uptake
TL;DR: This study provides the first report of an essential, developmentally regulated BAG-family gene, termed starvin (stv), expressed in a highly tissue-specific manner in Drosophila and found that the gross morphology and function of somatic muscles is normal in stv mutants.
