Influence of electrical stimulation on hip joint adductor muscle activity during maximum effort.
Sota Nakano,Chikamune Wada +1 more
TL;DR: Results suggested that inactivation of the adductor group was promoted by electrical stimulation of the tensor fascia lata.
3
Usefulness of simulation method to improve efficiency of chair-to-wheelchair transfer of patients performed by caregivers.
TL;DR: These data suggest that the simulated experience method could help make use of the ability of the care-receiver to get transferred, and even care workers for the sanatorium-type sickbeds could learn to utilize the physical ability ofThe care-Receivers using simulated experience.

Regression Equation between Required Force and Lumbar Load of Caregiver in Supporting Standing-up Motion via Computational Musculoskeletal Simulation
Kodai Kitagawa,Yoshiki Nishisako,Takayuki Nagasaki,Sota Nakano,Mitsumasa Hida,Shogo Okamatsu,Chikamune Wada +6 more
TL;DR: It is found that when the required force was more than 120 N, the compression stresses of the vertebral exceeded injury threshold (3400 N) by the regression equation, and regression equations contribute to quantitatively consider lumbar loads of caregiver during patient handling based on injury thresholds and the requiredforce.
Effects of Arm Swing Limitation on Knee Joint Moment during Walking —Biomechanical Analysis Using a 3D Motion Capture System—
Hiroshi Katoh,Kenta Gotoh,Yuki Tashiro,Hirotaka Noguchi,Katsuhiro Hori,Yokiko Goshima,Hideaki Fukudome,Sota Nakano,Takayuki Nagasaki,Terukazu Hamada +9 more
TL;DR: Arm swing limitation decreases knee abduction moment, but increases knee extension moment in men with healthy knee joint gait.
