Point contact pseudo-metal/oxide/semiconductor transistor in as-grown silicon on insulator wafers
TL;DR: In this article, a pseudo-metal/oxide/semiconductor transistor can be operated in situ in as-grown silicon on insulator materials and the measurement set-up and typical transistor characteristics are discussed.

Effects of localized interface defects caused by hot-carrier stress in n-channel MOSFETs at low temperature
TL;DR: In this paper, a hot-carrier stressing was carried out on 1- mu m n-type MOSFETs at 77 K with fixed drain voltage V/sub d/=5.5 V and gate voltage v/sub g/ varying from 1.5 to 6.5V.

A new parameter extraction method for ultra-thin oxide SOI MOSFET's
Olivier Faynot,Sorin Cristoloveanu,P. McLarty,C. Raynaud,J. Gautier +4 more
- 03 Oct 1994
TL;DR: In this paper, the threshold voltage, effective channel length, field effect mobility and gate-induced mobility attenuation factors were extracted for ultra-thin oxides, where the transconductance may exhibit negative values.

New physics mechanisms enabled by advanced SOI CMOS engineering
TL;DR: In this article, the operation principles and main features of transistors with double, triple or quadruple gates are discussed and the self-heating problem in SOI MOSFETs can be alleviated by replacing the buried oxide with alumina or a different dielectric that offers improved thermal conductivity, without degrading the electrostatic behaviour of the device.

(Invited) The Pseudo-MOSFET: Principles and Recent Trends
Sorin Cristoloveanu,Irina Ionica,A. Diab,Fanyu Liu +3 more
- 15 Mar 2013
TL;DR: In this article, the pseudo-MOSFET (Ψ-mosFET) is a fascinating transistor based on the upsidedown MOS configuration of semiconductor-on-insulator (SOI) wafers.
