Nanographene Oxide–Hyaluronic Acid Conjugate for Photothermal Ablation Therapy of Skin Cancer
Ho Sang Jung,Won Ho Kong,Dong Kyung Sung,Min-Young Lee,Songeun Beack,Do Hee Keum,Ki Su Kim,Seok Hyun Yun,Sei Kwang Hahn,Sei Kwang Hahn +9 more
TL;DR: A nanographene oxide-HA conjugate (NGO-HA) was synthesized for photothermal ablation therapy of melanoma skin cancer using a near-infrared (NIR) laser and resulted in complete ablation of tumor tissues with no recurrence of tumorigenesis.
Bioimaging of hyaluronic acid derivatives using nanosized carbon dots.
Eun Ji Goh,Ki Su Kim,Yi Rang Kim,Ho Sang Jung,Songeun Beack,Won Ho Kong,Giuliano Scarcelli,Seok Hyun Yun,Seok Hyun Yun,Sei Kwang Hahn,Sei Kwang Hahn +10 more
TL;DR: In vivo real-time bioimaging of Cdots and HA-Cdot conjugates exhibited the target specific delivery of ha derivatives to the liver with abundant HA receptors and the feasibility of HA derivatives as a target-specific drug delivery carrier is confirmed.

Hyaluronic Acid–Gold Nanoparticle/Interferon α Complex for Targeted Treatment of Hepatitis C Virus Infection
Min-Young Lee,Yang Jeong A,Ho Sang Jung,Songeun Beack,Jung Eun Choi,Wonhee Hur,Heebeom Koo,Kwangmeyung Kim,Seung Kew Yoon,Sei Kwang Hahn +9 more
TL;DR: A target-specific long-acting delivery system of IFNα was successfully developed using the hybrid materials of AuNP and hyaluronic acid, which significantly enhanced the expression of 2',5'-oligoadenylate synthetase 1 (OAS1) for innate immune responses to viral infection in the liver tissue, which was much higher than those by IFN α, PEG-Intron, and AuNP/IFNα complex.
