Fabrication of Hydroxyapatite/Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate/Polyamide 66 Composite Scaffolds by the Injection-Molding Method
TL;DR: In this paper, the injection-molding technique was used to produce composite scaffolds with a pore size close to the cancellous bone and the effects of HA, EVA, azodicarbonamide (AC) content and shot size on the mechanical properties, pore morphology, porosity and crystallization behavior were analyzed by XRD, DSC, SEM and mechanical test.

A Novel Hydroxyapatite/Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate/Copolymer 66 Composite for Hard Tissue Regeneration
TL;DR: In this paper, an ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer was used as a modifier to toughen polyamide 66 (PA66) composite and improve the melt processability.

Effects of Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer on the Morphology and Mechanical Properties of Hydroxyapatite/Polyamide 66 Composites for Bone Tissue Engineering
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used EVA to toughen the hydroxyapatite/polyamide 66 (HA/PA66) composites, which were analyzed by SEM, DMA, FTIR, XRD and mechanical testing.

Injection‐molded porous hydroxyapatite/polyamide‐66 scaffold for bone repair and investigations on the experimental conditions
TL;DR: In this article, a 40 wt% HA/polyamide-66 composite scaffolds with a pore size ranging from 100-500 μm and a porosity more than 65% can simultaneously meet the requirements of porous structure and mechanical performance.

Preparation and characterisation of nanohydroxyapatite–sodium alginate–polyvinyl alcohol composite scaffold
TL;DR: In this paper, a porous composite scaffold for bone tissue engineering and drug delivery system was prepared from nanohydroxyapatite, biodegradable Ca crosslinked sodium alginate (SA) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) by the method of coprecipitation.
