TAp63α induces AP-2γ as an early event in epidermal morphogenesis
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that TAp63α directly induces AP-2γ expression in embryonic epidermis, when commitment to stratification occurs, and it is shown that, in the absence of AP- 2γ, TA p63α fails to induce K14 expression in vitro.

p63 Deficiency: A Failure of Lineage Commitment or Stem Cell Maintenance?
Maranke I. Koster,Soeun Kim,Dennis R. Roop +2 more
- 01 Nov 2005
TL;DR: Evidence is discussed suggesting that p63 is required for the commitment to stratification, making p63 the earliest known gene expressed in the developing epidermis that is specific for the keratinocyte lineage.

p63 directly induces expression of Alox12, a regulator of epidermal barrier formation.
Soeun Kim,Irene F. Choi,Jessica R. Quante,Lei Zhang,Dennis R. Roop,Dennis R. Roop,Maranke I. Koster +6 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that ΔNp63α, the predominantly expressed p63 isoform in postnatal epidermis, also plays a role in the final stages of epidermal differentiation, namely the formation of the epidersmal barrier.
Postnatal regulation of B-1a cell development and survival by the CIC-PER2-BHLHE41 axis.
Hyebeen Hong,Jongeun Lee,Guk Yeol Park,Soeun Kim,Jiho Park,Jong Seok Park,Young Sun Song,Sujin Lee,Tae Jin Kim,You Jeong Lee,Tae-Young Roh,Seung-Ki Kwok,Sung Won Kim,Qiumin Tan,Yoontae Lee +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors report that CIC deficiency enhances B cell receptor (BCR) signaling in transitional B cells and B-1a cell viability, which is a key transcription factor that limits the B1a cells population at the adult stage and balances B1 versus B-2 cell formation.

ERK phosphorylation disrupts the intramolecular interaction of capicua to promote cytoplasmic translocation of capicua and tumor growth
Jong Seok Park,Guk Yeol Park,Jongeun Lee,Joon Won Park,Soeun Kim,Eunjeong Kim,Seung-Yeol Park,Jong Hyuk Yoon,Yoontae Lee +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the roles of ERK, p90RSK, and c-SRC in the EGF activation-induced cytoplasmic translocation of CIC and further investigated the molecular basis for this process.
