Structural, microstructural and corrosion properties of brush plated copper–tin alloy coatings
TL;DR: In this paper, the brush plated Cu-Sn alloy was analyzed using XRD, SEM and AFM and the results indicated a high charge transfer resistance and very low ICorr for the alloy system comparing with that of individual elements on the substrate and the mild steel substrate.
Selective area deposition of Tin–Nickel alloy coating – an alternative for decorative chromium plating
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the selective area plated Sn-Ni alloy was heterogeneous and composed of NiSn, Ni3Sn2 and Ni3sn4 phases.

Structural and electrochemical characterization of Ni nanostructure films on steels with brush plating and sputter deposition
TL;DR: In this article, brush plated and DC magnetron sputtering techniques were applied on low carbon steel substrates applying both brush-plated and magnetron-sputtering techniques, and X-ray diffraction analysis showed a preferential orientation along (1 1 1/1/1) for both sputter deposited and brushplated Ni nanostructure coatings.

Effect of sulphonic acids on electrodeposition of nickel and its structural and corrosion behaviour
R. Sekar,Sobha Jayakrishnan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of methane sulphonic acid, naphthalene sulfonic acid and phenol sulphonic acids on the electrodeposition of nickel from a citrate buffered nickel bath was investigated.
