The vaginal microbiome of pregnant women is less rich and diverse, with lower prevalence of Mollicutes, compared to non-pregnant women
Aline C. Freitas,Bonnie Chaban,Bonnie Chaban,Alan D. Bocking,Alan D. Bocking,Maria Rocco,Siwen Yang,Siwen Yang,Janet E. Hill,Deborah Money +9 more
TL;DR: This study characterized the vaginal microbiomes of healthy pregnant women at 11–16 weeks of gestational age and compared them to those of non-pregnant women, providing a baseline for forthcoming studies investigating the diagnostic potential of the microbiome for prediction of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
Ginsenoside Compound K Protects against Obesity through Pharmacological Targeting of Glucocorticoid Receptor to Activate Lipophagy and Lipid Metabolism

NONHSAT021545/miR-330-3p/EREG: A Cooperative Axis in Breast Cancer Prognosis and Treatment
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper found that miR-330-3p and EREG formed a multi-gene co-regulation system that affected the metastasis of breast cancer and the cooperation reflects the synergistic effects of the three molecules, recommending that their cooperation may provide a more accurate index for anti-metastasis therapeutic and prognostic evaluation of BC.

The homeostatic malfunction of a novel feedback pathway formed by lncRNA021545, miR-330-3p and epiregulin contributes in hepatocarcinoma progression via mediating epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
Siwen Yang,Yunkun Zhang,Chunmei Guo,Rui Liu,Maroua Elkharti,Zhenhua Ge,Qinlong Liu,Shubin Liu,Ming-Zhong Sun +8 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that miR-330-3p/lncRNA021545/EREG axis plays a critical role in hepatocarcinoma progression and as a candidate for its treatment and systemic in vitro cellular characterizations showed that the malfunctions of the three molecules mediated the invasiveness of hepatocARCinoma cells via EMT process.
