Ligand-Accelerated Iron Photocatalysis Enabling Decarboxylative Alkylation of Heteroarenes
TL;DR: A mild, practical protocol for the decarboxylative alkylation of heteroarenes has been accomplished via iron photocatalysis by utilizing the intramolecular charge transfer pathway of iron-carboxylate complexes.

Intramolecular Aromatic C-H Acyloxylation Enabled by Iron Photocatalysis.
TL;DR: A mild and efficient protocol for the intramolecular aromatic C-H oxygenation of 2-biphenylcarboxylic acids has been achieved via iron photocatalysis and it is speculated that the aryl carboxylate-iron(III) complexes should generate the aroyloxy radicals and iron(II) upon visible light irradiation.

NHC‐Activations on α‐, β‐, γ‐, and Beyond
TL;DR: In this article , the authors focus on the development of NHC activation of carbonyl carbon (or imine carbon) in situ, α−, β−, γ−, and beyond, and the cycloaddition reaction of these species.

Nickel-Catalyzed Amination of (Hetero)aryl Halides Facilitated by a Catalytic Pyridinium Additive.
TL;DR: An efficient and operationally simple Ni-catalyzed amination protocol has been developed and a diverse number of (hetero)aryl halides were coupled successfully with primary and secondary alkyl amines, and anilines in good to excellent yields.
