Bioremediation of heavy metals from wastewater using nanomaterials
TL;DR: In this article, a review of various methods of heavy metal remediation and wastewater treatment are discussed including the application of microbes, plants, and nanoparticles in HMR, and real-time applications and economic aspects of HMR.

Matter creation cosmology in Brans-Dicke theory: Observational tests and thermodynamic analysis
C. P. Singh,Simran Kaur +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a matter-dominated model with gravitationally induced matter creation is proposed in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory to explain the present accelerated expansion of the universe.

Predicting crowdfunding success with optimally weighted random forests
Fahad Sarfaraz Ahmad,Devank Tyagi,Simran Kaur +2 more
- 01 Dec 2017
TL;DR: A novel algorithm is proposed for the RandomForests learning model in which optimal weights are assigned to the individual classifiers and weighted majority voting is performed on them using the 13 predictors that were found to be most suitable through implementation logic.

Probing bulk viscous matter-dominated model in Brans-Dicke theory
C. P. Singh,Simran Kaur +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore a matter-dominated model with bulk viscosity in Brans-Dicke theory to interpret the observed cosmic accelerating expansion phenomena and obtain the exact solution of the field equations by taking constant bulk viscous coefficient (which potentially could explain the present accelerated expansion of the Universe) and Brans Dicke scalar field proportional to some power of scale factor.
