Endogenous antibodies promote rapid myelin clearance and effective axon regeneration after nerve injury
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that degenerating nerve tissue is targeted by preexisting endogenous antibodies that control myelin clearance by promoting macrophage entrance and phagocytic activity and suggested that the immune-privileged status of the CNS may contribute to failure of CNS myelin cleared and axon regeneration after injury.

ABHD6 and MAGL control 2-AG levels in the PAG and allodynia in a CSD-induced periorbital model of headache
Erika Liktor-Busa,Aidan Levine,Seph M. Palomino,Simar J. Singh,Jared Wahl,Todd W. Vanderah,Nephi Stella,Tally M. Largent-Milnes +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a mechanistic link between 2-arachidonoylglycerol hydrolysis activity in the periaqueductal grey in a preclinical, rat model of migraine was found.
Pharmacological characterization of the endocannabinoid sensor GRABeCB2.0
Simar J. Singh,Dennis Sarroza,Anthony English,Maya McGrory,Ao Dong,Larry S. Zweifel,Benjamin B. Land,Yulong Li,Michael R. Bruchas,Nephi Stella +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a genetically encoded sensor, GRABeCB2.0, detects real-time changes in eCB levels in cells in culture and preclinical model systems, but its activation by eCB analogues produced by cells and by phyto-cannabinoids remains uncharacterized, a current limitation when interpreting changes in its response.
ABHD6 selectively controls metabotropic-dependent increases in 2-AG production
Simar J. Singh,Dennis Sarroza,Anthony English,Dale Whittington,Ao Dong,M. van der Stelt,Yulong Li,Larry S. Zweifel,Michael R. Bruchas,Benjamin B. Land,Nephi Stella +10 more
TL;DR: This study indicates that ABHD6 selectively controls stimuli-dependent increases in 2-AG production and emphasizes its specific role in eCB signaling.
