Dynamic Interleukin-6 Level Changes as a Prognostic Indicator in Patients With COVID-19.
Zeming Liu,Jinpeng Li,Danyang Chen,Rongfen Gao,Wen Zeng,Sichao Chen,Yihui Huang,Jianglong Huang,Wei Long,Man Li,Liang Guo,Xinghuan Wang,Xiaohui Wu +12 more
TL;DR: Interleukin-6 level may be an independent risk factor for disease severity and in-hospital mortality and dynamic IL-6 changes may serve as a potential predictor for lung injury in Chinese COVID-19 patients.
Association of procalcitonin levels with the progression and prognosis of hospitalized patients with COVID-19.
Zeming Liu,Jinpeng Li,Shipei Wang,Danyang Chen,Wen Zeng,Sichao Chen,Yihui Huang,Jianglong Huang,Wei Long,Man Li,Rongfen Gao,Liang Guo,Xiaohui Wu +12 more
TL;DR: PCT level was shown as an independent risk factor of in-hospital mortality among COVID-19 patients and may provide guidance for improving the prognosis of patients with critically severe CO VID-19.
Analysis of the Risk Factors for Mortality in Adult COVID-19 Patients in Wuhan: A Multicenter Study
Man Li,Biao Cheng,Wen Zeng,Sichao Chen,Mengqi Tu,Meng Wu,Wei Tong,Shipei Wang,Yihui Huang,Wei Long,Wei Zhou,Danyang Chen,Lin Zhou,Min Wang,Haibo Xu,Aiping Deng,Zeming Liu,Liang Guo +17 more
TL;DR: Risk factors that show significant association with mortality in adult COVID-19 patients are identified and provide valuable references for clinicians to identify high-risk patients with CO VID-19 at an early stage.
Abnormal Fibrinogen Level as a Prognostic Indicator in Coronavirus Disease Patients: A Retrospective Cohort Study
Wei Long,Jie Yang,Zhengwei Li,Jinpeng Li,Sichao Chen,Danyang Chen,Shipei Wang,Qianqian Li,Di Hu,Jianglong Huang,Wen Zeng,Liang Guo,Xiaohui Wu +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of Fibrinogen (FIB) levels in the prognosis of COVID-19 patients was examined, and it was shown that an elevated FIB level was associated with a greater risk of developing critical disease (odds ratio: 2.16, 95% CI: 1.04-4.46, P = 0.033).
Transcription factor EB‑mediated autophagy promotes dermal fibroblast differentiation and collagen production by regulating endoplasmic reticulum stress and autophagy‑dependent secretion
Ling Zhou,Zeming Liu,Sichao Chen,Jing Qiu,Qianqian Li,Shipei Wang,Wei Zhou,Danyang Chen,Guang Yang,Liang Guo +9 more
TL;DR: The present results suggested that autophagy reduced ER stress, decreased cell apoptosis and maintained fibroblast activation not only through degradation of misfolded or unfolded proteins, but also through promotion of COL I release from the autolysosome to the extracellular environment.
