Dynamic projection of ecological risk in the Manas River basin based on terrain gradients.
Lianqing Xue,Boli Zhu,Yiping Wu,Guanghui Wei,Shumin Liao,Changbing Yang,Jing Wang,Hui Zhang,Lei Ren,Qiang Han +9 more
TL;DR: It is found that the great ecological risk mainly happens in "high altitude and complex terrain" or "low altitude and flat terrain" areas, and the future ecological risk in medium terrain niche index (TNI) gradient will increase, while it will decrease in the lowest.

Cumulative ecohydrological response to hydrological processes in arid basins
Shumin Liao,Lianqing Xue,Lianqing Xue,Zengchuan Dong,Boli Zhu,Ke Zhang,Qing Wei,Fangbing Fu,Guanghui Wei +8 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors analyzed the spatiotemporal variations of the cumulative ecohydrological response in terms of two indicators, groundwater depth and vegetation coverage, based on the eighteen phases of the ecological water conveyance project.

Analysis on water use efficiency of Populus euphratica forest ecosystem in arid area
Lianqing Xue,Lianqing Xue,Fangbing Fu,Xinfang Chen,Liu Yuanhong,Qiang Han,Shumin Liao,Qing Wei +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, continuous observations of carbon, water, and energy fluxes were carried out in Populus euphratica forest with eddy covariance (EC) technique in 2018.
Study on early warning mechanism of ecological water safety in typical watershed of arid areas
Qing Wei,Lianqing Xue,Lianqing Xue,Guanghui Wei,Shumin Liao,Fangbing Fu +5 more
- 01 Oct 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, a regional water ecological security early warning indicator system was established, which combines the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE) to improve the comprehensive management level of water resources in the Tarim river basin.
