Synthesis of three-dimensional flowerlike nitrogen-doped carbons by a copyrolysis route and the effect of nitrogen species on the electrocatalytic activity in oxygen reduction reaction
TL;DR: In this paper, three-dimensional flower-like nitrogen-doped carbons (NCs) have been prepared by copyrolysis of solid ferrocene and melamine at 500-700°C, and the electrocatalytic performance of as-prepared NCs for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is evaluated.

Study on the morphology-controlled synthesis of MnCO3 materials and their enhanced electrochemical performance for lithium ion batteries
TL;DR: In this article, a growth mechanism was proposed to elucidate the influence of reactant components on the morphology and size of the prepared MnCO3 samples, which could be employed as active electrode materials in lithium ion batteries.

A reusable biosensor for detecting mercury(II) at the subpicomolar level based on "turn-on" resonance light scattering.
TL;DR: A reusable sensing strategy employing magnetic nanoparticles and thymine-containing aptamers was developed to detect Hg(2+) in real water samples based on "turn-on" resonance light scattering and can be repeatedly used for at least seven cycles.

In situ synthesized Au–Ag nanocages on graphene oxide nanosheets: a highly active and recyclable catalyst for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol
TL;DR: Graphene oxide-supported hollow Au-Ag alloy nanocages with tunable shell composition were in situ fabricated by employing a galvanic replacement reaction (GRR) between HAuCl4 and Ag nanoparticles loaded on graphene oxide nanosheets (AgNP/GO) as mentioned in this paper.
