The mirror image storage and distribution system comprises cluster management servers, local object storage servers, DHT-MAP mapping servers and QEMU block drivers, wherein the local object storage servers, the DHT-MAP mapping servers and the QEMU block drivers run on test computers of a distributed cloud computing platform. By the adoption of the mirror image storage and distribution system, batch and fast deployment of distributed cross-region virtual machines can be achieved, and the defects that the period is long, dynamic extension can not be achieved and usability is low when a traditional system and method are used for deploying the virtual machines can be overcome.
