Geological characteristics and exploration of shale oil in Chang 7 Member of Triassic Yanchang Formation, Ordos Basin, NW China
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper proved that the Qingcheng Oilfield with geologic oil reserves of billion ton order was proved in the class I multi-stage superimposed sandstone shale reservoir of Chang 7 Member by the Changqing Oilfield Branch through implementation of overall exploration and horizontal well volume fracturing.

Paleo-sedimentary environmental restoration and its significance of Chang 7 Member of Triassic Yanchang Formation in Ordos Basin, NW China
TL;DR: In this article, a geochemical elements analysis of 289 samples collected from the outcrop sections around and wells drilled in the Ordos Basin and using a series of identification indexes of paleo climate, paleo-salinity and paleo redox conditions, such as CaO/MgO·Al2O3, Sr/Cu, rb/Sr, Rb/K2O, Th/U, V/(V+Ni), the content of element B tested from the mudstone.

Quantitative analysis of the Mesozoic abnormal low pressure in Ordos Basin
Shixiang Li,Shixiang Li,Zejin Shi,Xianyang Liu,Xianyang Liu,Shiyu Yang,Xiuqin Deng,Guanglin Liu,Jihong Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors quantitatively analyzed the formation mechanisms of abnormally low pressure from several aspects, such as tectonic uplift, stratum temperature decrease and dissolution-increased porosity.

Spatial-Temporal Evolution Characteristics and Driving Force Analysis of NDVI in the Minjiang River Basin, China, from 2001 to 2020
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used the Theil-Sen slope test, Mann-Kendall significance test, Rescaled Range Analysis and partial correlation analysis to investigate the evolution of NDVI in the Minjiang River Basin, China, from three aspects: the spatial-temporal variation characteristics and future trend prediction, the variation of climate and human activities in the basin, and the influences of different driving forces on NDVI.
Characteristics and exploration targets of Chang 7 shale oil in Triassic Yanchang Formation, Ordos Basin, NW China
TL;DR: This study analyzes the geological characteristics and exploration potential of Chang 7 shale oil in the Ordos Basin, NW China, identifying two types of oil reservoirs and recommending exploration targets based on source rock quality, pressure differences, and fracture systems.
