Identification and Validation of a Prognostic Signature for Thyroid Cancer Based on Ferroptosis-Related Genes
TL;DR: A ferroptosis-related gene-based prognostic model was constructed that provided unique insights into THCA prognosis prediction and AKR1C3 was found to be a progression promoter in thyroid cancer cell lines.
BP‑1‑102 exerts an antitumor effect on the AGS human gastric cancer cell line through modulating the STAT3 and MAPK signaling pathways
Xiaoxia Jiang,Jian Tang,Mengjie Wu,Shitu Chen,Zhenzhen Xu,Haiyong Wang,Haohao Wang,Xiongfei Yu,Zhongqi Li,Lisong Teng +9 more
TL;DR: Results demonstrated that BP-1-102 may be a potent antitumor agent that acts through modulating the STAT3 and MAPK signaling pathways in GC cells.
BRAFV600E restructures cellular lactylation to promote anaplastic thyroid cancer proliferation.
Xu-Meng Wang,Tianxing Ying,Jimeng Yuan,Yue Wang,Xingyun Su,Shitu Chen,Yurong Zhao,Jinghao Sheng,Lisong Teng,Chi Luo,Weibin Wang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of BRAFV600E mutation on the cellular protein lactylation landscape was investigated, and the results demonstrated an extra beneficial effect of aerobic glycolysis on ATC, revealing a novel metabolism-epigenetics axis suitable for combinatorial therapy with BRAFv600E inhibition.

Lateral lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma: a study of 5241 follow-up patients
Jiaying Ruan,Zhendong Chen,Shitu Chen,Zehang Xu,Li-lian Wen,Zhuochao Mao,Jiejie Shen,Jian Li,Weibin Wang +8 more
- 18 Aug 2023
TL;DR: Evidence is provided that LLNM is significantly correlated with tumor recurrence in patients with PTMC, and the prevalence of LLNM escalated significantly with increasing number of lymph node involvement in CLNM when stratified by the number of metastatic lymph nodes.

Integrative Methylome and Transcriptome Characterization Identifies SERINC2 as a Tumor-Driven Gene for Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma
Tianxing Ying,Xumeng Wang,Yun-Chang Yao,Jimeng Yuan,Shitu Chen,Liping Wen,Zhijian Chen,Xiaofeng Wang,Chi Luo,Jinghao Sheng,Weibin Wang,Lisong Teng +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors performed an integrative analysis of DNA methylation and RNA array from a cohort for potential papillary thyroid cancer-specific indicators, and the results demonstrate the whole-genome DNA methylations and gene expression profiles of Papillary thyroid carcinoma, identify a new tumor-driven indicator, and provide a novel insight into the etiology of PTC.
