LSI-based amperometric sensor for bio-imaging and multi-point biosensing.
Kumi Y. Inoue,Masahki Matsudaira,Reyushi Kubo,Masanori Nakano,Shinya Yoshida,Sakae Matsuzaki,Atsushi Suda,Ryota Kunikata,Tatsuo Kimura,Ryota Tsurumi,Toshihito Shioya,Kosuke Ino,Hitoshi Shiku,Shiro Satoh,Masayoshi Esashi,Tomokazu Matsue +15 more
TL;DR: An LSI-based amperometric sensor with 400 measurement points as a platform for electrochemical bio-imaging and multi-point biosensing with a wide dynamic range from ±1 pA to ±100 nA with a well-organized circuit design and operating software is developed.

Advanced LSI-based amperometric sensor array with light-shielding structure for effective removal of photocurrent and mode selectable function for individual operation of 400 electrodes
Kumi Y. Inoue,Masahki Matsudaira,Masanori Nakano,Kosuke Ino,Chika Sakamoto,Yusuke Kanno,Reyushi Kubo,Ryota Kunikata,Atsushi Kira,Atsushi Suda,Ryota Tsurumi,Toshihito Shioya,Shinya Yoshida,Masanori Muroyama,Tomohiro Ishikawa,Hitoshi Shiku,Shiro Satoh,Masayoshi Esashi,Tomokazu Matsue +18 more
TL;DR: Results confirm that the advanced version of Bio-LSI is a promising tool that can be applied to a wide range of analytical fields.

Preparation of high purity zinc selenide single crystals and evaluation through photoluminescence spectra
TL;DR: In this paper, high purity zinc selenide single crystals were grown using commercial high purity selenium and zinc purified by vacuum distillation and overlap zone-melting, and the photoluminescence spectra measured at 4.2 K on the grown crystals are confirmed to be affected considerably by the purity of the zinc used.

Activation analysis of oxygen in iron and chromium through bombardment by 3He ion beam.
Minoru Isshiki,Koji Arakawa,Shiro Satoh,Mitsugu Nagano,Yasutaka Fukuda,Kazuhiro Chiba,Kenzo Igaki +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the 3He ion beam was applied to determine the oxygen content of iron and chromium in the form of PbFCl, which was reliably determined in the level of 100ppb, and can be applied easily to other metals and compounds which can be dissolved in nitric or sulfuric acid.

Low-temperature aluminum thermo-compression wafer bonding with tin antioxidation layer for hermetic sealing of MEMS
Shiro Satoh,Hideyuki Fukushi,Masayoshi Esashi,Shuji Tanaka +3 more
- 01 Jan 2016
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrated the lowest temperature ever reported, 370-390°C, using a thin antioxidation capping layer of Al-Sn phase diagram, which was also supported by the cross-sectional observation of the bonding interlayer.
