Bag proteins and nucleic acid molecules encoding them
John C. Reed,Shinichi Takayama +1 more
- 20 Apr 2010
TL;DR: The present paper as mentioned in this paper provides a family of BAG-1 related proteins from humans (BAG-1L, BAG1A, BBA-1B), the invertebrate C. elegans, S. pombe and the nucleic acid molecules that encode them.

DNA encoding Bcl-2-associated proteins
John C. Reed,Shinichi Takayama,Taka-Aki Sato +2 more
- 12 Nov 1993
TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide nucleotide sequences encoding proteins and fragments thereof that bind to Bcl-2-related proteins and further provide methods for detecting agents that induce dissociation of a bound complex formed by the association of a BAP and a BCL-2 related protein.

Myofibrillar myopathy with desmin accumulation in a young Australian Shepherd dog.
TL;DR: A 1-year-old male neutered Australian Shepherd dog was referred to a veterinary specialist for evaluation of chronic lameness, contractures, and exercise intolerance, and observations represent the first report of myofibrillar myopathy in the dog.

Accumulation of Hsp70/Hsc70 molecular chaperone regulator BAG-1 on COPI-coated structures in gastric epithelial cells
TL;DR: It is shown that BAG-1 is highly expressed in gastrointestinal epithelial cells and accumulates at the Golgi apparatus, probably through interaction with COPI coated structure, implying its contribution toward the COPI vesicular transport in gastrointestinal endothelial cells.
