Identification of Circular RNAs and Their Targets in Leaves of Triticum aestivum L. under Dehydration Stress.
TL;DR: A possible connection between the regulations of circRNAs with the expressions of functional genes in wheat leaves associated with dehydration resistance is revealed.
Exogenous application of 5-aminolevulinic acid on wheat seedlings under drought stress enhances the transcription of psbA and psbD genes and improves photosynthesis
TL;DR: In this article, an exogenous application of 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) pre-treatment with 20% polyethylene glycol (PEG-6000) for three days was shown to improve photosystem II (PSII) functional indexes.

The iTRAQ-based chloroplast proteomic analysis of Triticum aestivum L. leaves subjected to drought stress and 5-aminolevulinic acid alleviation reveals several proteins involved in the protection of photosynthesis
TL;DR: The results from chloroplast proteomics extend the understanding of the mechanisms employed by exogenous ALA to defend against drought stress in wheat by suggesting that ALA promoted reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging in chloroplasts by regulating enzymatic processes.
A new global dataset of mountain glacier centerlines and lengths
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as discussed by the authors extracted centerlines and maximum lengths of global glaciers using a self-designed automatic extraction algorithm based on the latest global glacier inventory data, digital elevation model (DEM), and European allocation theory.
Spatial and Temporal Distribution Characteristics of Active Fires in China Using Remotely Sensed Data
TL;DR: Based on the FIRMS MODIS active fire location data in the Chinese mainland from 2001 to 2018, the GIS fishing net (1 km × 1 km) was used to analyze the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of active fire occurrence probability and intensity, and a GWLR fire risk assessment model was established to explore its influencing factors as discussed by the authors .
