Cardiac Functional Analysis with Multi–Detector Row CT and Segmental Reconstruction Algorithm: Comparison with Echocardiography, SPECT, and MR Imaging
Masaki Yamamuro,Eiji Tadamura,Shigeto Kubo,Hiroshi Toyoda,Takeshi Nishina,Muneo Ohba,Ryohei Hosokawa,Takeshi Kimura,Nagara Tamaki,Masashi Komeda,Toru Kita,Junji Konishi +11 more
TL;DR: Function analysis with multi-detector row CT was more accurate than that with two-dimensional echocardiography or ECG-gated SPECT and segmental reconstruction algorithm over a range of heart rates.
Comparison of myocardial blood flow during dobutamine-atropine infusion with that after dipyridamole administration in normal men
Eiji Tadamura,Hidehiro Iida,Keiichi Matsumoto,Marcelo Mamede,Shigeto Kubo,Hiroshi Toyoda,Toshiki Shiozaki,Takahiro Mukai,Yasuhiro Magata,Junji Konishi +9 more
TL;DR: Dobutamine in conjunction with atropine is no less effective than dipyridamole in producing myocardial hyperemia and near maximal coronary vasodilatation caused by dipyrIDamole is attainable using dobutamine andatropine in young healthy volunteers.

Effect of Caffeine Intake on Myocardial Hyperemic Flow Induced by Adenosine Triphosphate and Dipyridamole
Shigeto Kubo,Eiji Tadamura,Hiroshi Toyoda,Marcelo Mamede,Masaki Yamamuro,Yasuhiro Magata,Takahiro Mukai,Haruhiro Kitano,Nagara Tamaki,Junji Konishi +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that ATP has the potential to induce greater hyperemia than dipyridamole, whereas hyperemic responses to ATP and dipyrIDamole are similarly attenuated after caffeine intake, suggesting that abstinence from caffeine before ATP stress testing may be needed.

Monitoring liver tumor therapy with [18F]FDG positron emission tomography.
Yasushi Nagata,Kimiyo N. Yamamoto,Masahiro Hiraoka,M. Abe,M. Takahashi,Keizo Akuta,Yasumasa Nishimura,Shiken Jo,S. Masunaga,Shigeto Kubo,J Konishi +10 more
TL;DR: Three cases are reported in which PET-FDG was more useful for monitoring liver tumor therapy than other imaging methods and tumor markers.

Use of technetium-99m sestamibi ECG-gated single-photon emission tomography for the evaluation of left ventricular function following coronary artery bypass graft: comparison with three-dimensional magnetic resonance imaging.
Eiji Tadamura,Takashi Kudoh,Makoto Motooka,Masayuki Inubushi,Tomohisa Okada,Shigeto Kubo,Naoya Hattori,Tetsuya Matsuda,Takaaki Koshiji,Kazunobu Nishimura,Masashi Komeda,Junji Konishi +11 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that ECG-gated perfusion SPET can provide regional and global functional information, including absolute volumes, in patients following cardiac surgery.
