TL;DR: In this article, two new zig-zag type di-and mono-nuclear platinum(II) complexes of (BuPh-BDIQ)Pt2(dpm)2 and (Bu Ph-BD IQ)Ptdpm2 were synthesized and characterized by using a zigzag type cyclometalating ligand 3,10-di(tert-butyl)-5,12-bis(4-(tert)-butyl)phenyl)-benzodiisoquinoline.

TL;DR: In this paper, two tetradentate platinum (II) 3,6-substituted salophen complexes of Pt-2 and Pt-3 were synthesized and characterized, in which the substituted group is a donor (D) unit of 4,4′-di(tert-butyl)triphenylamine (ButTPA) and a donor-acceptor (D-A) framework of ButTPA and benzothiadiazole (BT).
