Application of Cervical Arthroplasty With Bryan Cervical Disc: 10-Year Follow-up Results in China
TL;DR: Cervical arthroplasty using Bryan cervical disc prosthesis resulted in fine clinical outcomes in this study, and heterotopic ossification was common after Bryan disc arthroPLasty, which decreased the range of motion.

Comparison of adjacent segment degeneration five years after single level cervical fusion and cervical arthroplasty: a retrospective controlled study
TL;DR: Adjacent segment degeneration was accelerated after anterior cervical decompression and fusion, however, Bryan disc arthroplasty avoided accelerated adjacent segments degeneration by preserving motion.

Progressive Bone Formation After Cervical Disc Replacement: Minimum of 5-Year Follow-up.
TL;DR: Although the long-term incidence of postoperative bone formation after CDR was relatively high, this did not adversely affect patient outcomes and is likely one of progressive bone formation in individuals already predisposed to forming bone rather than one of alleged heterotopic ossification as a consequence of the surgery.

A prospective randomized cohort study on 3D-printed artificial vertebral body in single-level anterior cervical corpectomy for cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
Feng Wei,Nanfang Xu,Zihe Li,Hong Cai,Feifei Zhou,Jun Yang,Miao Yu,Xiaoguang Liu,Yu Sun,Ke Zhang,Shengfa Pan,Fengliang Wu,Zhongjun Liu +12 more
TL;DR: For CSM patients undergoing SL-ACCF, the EBM-AVB group demonstrated comparable outcomes regarding patient cervical alignment, neurologic function, and HRQoL in comparison with the TMC group.

Open door expansive laminoplasty and postoperative axial symptoms: a comparative study between two different procedures.
TL;DR: Cervical expansive laminoplasty with preservation of unilateral PMLC may have the advantage of a lower rate of postoperative AS and maintenance of cervical spinal lordosis compared with the HSAP group.
