Autologous transplantation of porcine myogenic precursor cells in skeletal muscle
Nicolas Holzer,Simone Hogendoorn,Line Zurcher,Guido Garavaglia,Sheng Yang,Stéphane König,Thomas Laumonier,Jacques Menetrey +7 more
TL;DR: Nuclei of myogenic precursor cells transduced with a lentivirus encoding the nls-lacZ reporter gene were present in host myotubes 8 days post-transplantation, indicating that injected myogen precursor cells contribute to muscle regeneration.

Lentivirus Mediated HO-1 Gene Transfer Enhances Myogenic Precursor Cell Survival After Autologous Transplantation in Pig
Thomas Laumonier,Sheng Yang,Stéphane König,Christine Chauveau,Christine Chauveau,Ignacio Anegon,Ignacio Anegon,Pierre Hoffmeyer,Jacques Menetrey +8 more
TL;DR: Hme oxygenase-1 is identified as a protective gene against early MPC death post-transplantation and a fivefold enhancement in cell survival was observed after transplantation of HO-1-group as compared to the nls-LacZ-group or control group.

Heat shock pretreatment enhances porcine myoblasts survival after autotransplantation in intact skeletal muscle
TL;DR: It is suggested that heat shock pretreatment of myoblast in vitro is a simple and effective way to enhance cell survival after transplantation in pig, and might represent a potential method to overcome the limitations of MT treatment.

Establishment and evaluation of ectopic and orthotopic prostate cancer models using cell sheet technology
Dongliang Zhang,Ying Wang,Lei Liu,Zeng Li,Sheng Yang,Wei Zhao,Xiangfeng Wang,Hong Liao,Shukui Zhou +8 more
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper established ectopic and orthotopic prostate cancer (PCa) models by cell sheet technology, and then compared the efficiency of tumor formation with cell suspension injection.
