Samarium(III)-Catalyzed C(sp3)–H Bond Activation: Synthesis of Indolizines via C–C and C–N Coupling between 2-Alkylazaarenes and Propargylic Alcohols
TL;DR: A new rare earth metal and samarium-catalyzed C(sp(3))-H bond activation is reported in which 2-alkylazaarenes and propargylic alcohols were converted to indolizines.

Regioselective palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative cross-coupling reaction of alkenyl acids with coumarins: synthesis of 3-styrylcoumarin compounds.
TL;DR: A novel and efficient protocol for the regioselective synthesis of 3-styrylcoumarins from readily available cinnamic acids and coumarins is presented, which shows excellent fluorescence quantum yields.

The indium-catalysed hydration of alkynes using substoichiometric amounts of PTSA as additive
TL;DR: In this article, a general efficient and highly regioselective protocol using an indium(III) trifluoromethanesulfonate and PTSA (TsOH·H2O) catalytic system for the transformation of various alkynes to the corresponding ketones has been successfully developed.

Regioselective Palladium‐Catalyzed Decarboxylative Cross‐Coupling Reaction of Alkenyl Acids with Coumarins: Synthesis of 3‐Styrylcoumarin Compounds.
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel and efficient protocol for the regioselective synthesis of 3-styrylcoumarins from readily available cinnamic acids and coumarins is presented.

Samarium(III)-Catalyzed C(sp3)—H Bond Activation: Synthesis of Indolizines via C—C and C—N Coupling Between 2-Alkylazaarenes and Propargylic Alcohols.
TL;DR: In this article, the reaction proceeds under solvent-free conditions and tolerates a wide range of functional groups, including functional groups with different functional groups and functional groups without functional groups.
