Effective induction of anti-tumor immunity using p5 HER-2/neu derived peptide encapsulated in fusogenic DOTAP cationic liposomes co-administrated with CpG-ODN.
Mercedeh Mansourian,Ali Badiee,Seyed Amir Jalali,Sheida Shariat,Mona Yazdani,Mohamdreza Amin,Mahmoud Reza Jaafari +6 more
TL;DR: Results obtained demonstrated that p5 encapsulated in DOTAP-cholesterol-DOPE liposomes co-administered with CpG-ODN greatly enhanced the cytotoxic T lymphocytes response and highly inhibited the tumor progression.

P5 HER2/neu-derived peptide conjugated to liposomes containing MPL adjuvant as an effective prophylactic vaccine formulation for breast cancer
Sheida Shariat,Ali Badiee,Seyed Amir Jalali,Mercedeh Mansourian,Mona Yazdani,Seyed Alireza Mortazavi,Mahmoud Reza Jaafari +6 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrated that Lip-DOPE-P5-MPL induced a significantly higher IFN-γ production by CD8+ T cells intracellularly which represents higher CTL response in comparison with other control formulations.

Stimulation of Tumor-Specific Immunity by p5 HER-2/neu Generated Peptide Encapsulated in Nano-liposomes with High Phase Transition Temperature Phospholipids.
Mona Yazdani,Seyed Amir Jalali,Ali Badiee,Sheida Shariat,Mercedeh Mansourian,Leila Arabi,Azam Abbasi,Zahra Saberi,Mahmoud Reza Jaafari +8 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that simple liposomes consisting of phospholipids with high transition temperature could be an effective vaccine vehicle for tumor-associated antigens for inducing cell mediate immunity.

Preparation and characterization of different liposomal formulations containing P5 HER2/neu-derived peptide and evaluation of their immunological responses and antitumor effects
Sheida Shariat,Ali Badiee,Seyed Amir Jalali,Mercedeh Mansourian,Seyed Alireza Mortazavi,Mahmoud Reza Jaafari +5 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrated that P5 encapsulated into liposomal formulations was not able to induce CD8 and CD4 T cells to produce IFN-γ, which may be attributed to low uptake of anionic conventional liposomes by dendritic cells (DCs) that have negative surface charge.

Thermodynamic modeling of Density, Viscosity and Critical Micelle Concentration of Aqueous Tween and Span Solutions via Cubic Plus Association Equation of State
TL;DR: In this article , the CPA equation of state (CPA EoS) has been used to separately compute different thermodynamic properties of the aqueous non-ionic surfactant solutions, including Tween 80, Span 60, Tween 60, Span 80, and Span 60.
