A mixed-grid finite element method with PML absorbing boundary conditions for seismic wave modelling
TL;DR: In this paper, a mixed-grid finite element method (MGFEM) is proposed to simulate seismic wave propagation in 2D structurally complex media, which divides the physical domain into two subdomains.

A new kind of optimal second-order symplectic scheme for seismic wave simulations
TL;DR: In this article, generalized momentum and coordinate are introduced to transform seismic wave displacement equations into Hamiltonian system, and a new kind of second order symplectic scheme is constructed for high efficient and long-term seismic wave simulations.

Numerical simulation research on two-phase flow boiling heat transfer in helically coiled tube
TL;DR: In this paper , a new correlation of boiling heat transfer process in helically coiled tube is proposed, and the results showed that the gas phase was concentrated in the inner side (near the side of the central axis) and the upper side of a helically-coiled tube under boiling condition.

An adaptive subspace trust-region method for frequency-domain seismic full waveform inversion
TL;DR: Promising numerical results suggest this adaptive subspace trust-region method is suitable for full waveform inversion, as it has stronger convergence and higher convergence rate.
