Different Strategies to Treat Paroxysmal AF in Patients with Moderate CKD and Severe OSA: a sub group Analysis
Marcio Galindo Kiuchi,Shaojie Chen +1 more
- 04 Feb 2018
TL;DR: The data suggest that the patients underwent RSD associated to CPAP treatment or PVI, or both of them presented an improvement in the renal function, a decrease in AHI and a lower chance to present AF recurrence than the ones that did not suffer this intervention.
Effectiveness Evaluation of ICDs Implanted in the Right Side vs. Left Side
Márcio Galindo Kiuchi,Shaojie Chen,Luis Marcelo Rodrigues Paz,Helmut Pürerfellner +3 more
- 03 Jun 2017
TL;DR: The results show that ICD implantation on the right side caused an elevated DFT in comparison to the left side insertion, and there is no difference regarding safety and effectiveness about the amount of appropriate and inappropriate shock therapies.

Acute effects of renal sympathetic denervation guided by renal nerve stimulation in CKD patients with ICD
Márcio Galindo Kiuchi,Shaojie Chen +1 more
- 01 Jan 2017
TL;DR: The importance of automatic implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) has been demonstrated in patients with previous myocardial infarction and severe systolic left ventricular dysfunction and survivors of cardiac arrest or those with sustained ventricular tachycardia at high risk of recurrence of such events.

Tailored Target Ablation Index Guided Pulmonary Vein Isolation in Treating Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation: A Single Center Randomized Study in Asian Population (AI-Asian-I)
Qingsong Xiong,Jia Liao,Weijie Chen,Peilin Xiao,Huaan Du,Q I N G He,Yuehui Yin,Zhiyu Ling,Shaojie Chen +8 more
TL;DR: This randomized study shows that, a relatively lower target AI guided ablation may be similarly effective to achieve PVI with significantly reduced ablation time and obtain similar clinical outcome in treating paroxysmal AF in Asian population.
