TL;DR: A new strategy for treatment of kala-azar based on culture and sensitivity of amastigotes improved the cure rate, saved expenditure on the patient's treatment, patients had to stay for shorter periods in hospital and reduced the chance of spread of SAG resistant disease in society.

Association of personality traits with performance in military training.
TL;DR: The findings of the study indicate that cadets with low scores of neuroticism and high scores of conscientiousness perform well in the military academy and more such studies are required to reaffirm the findings and to conclusively recommend personality traits most conducive for military training.

Is 400 IU per day of Vitamin-D given to healthy well-nourished mothers antenatally enough to prevent neonatal Vitamin-D deficiency?
TL;DR: Antenatal supplementation of well nourished, socioeconomically better off mothers in the authors' population with 400 IU/day of Vitamin D3 is ineffective in preventing VDD in neonates.

Effectiveness of Teaching of Neonatal Resuscitation Programme at a Workshop for a Mixed Population of Medical Personnel
TL;DR: It is shown that a medical workshop is an effective means of imparting knowledge to a mixed group of medical personnel and nursing officers and probationer nurses showed statistically significant improvement in the post-workshop scores.
