Identification and validation of immune and oxidative stress-related diagnostic markers for diabetic nephropathy by WGCNA and machine learning
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper identified differentially expressed genes of diabetic nephropathy and downloaded oxidative stress-related genes based on the Genecard database, then, immune and oxidative stress related hub genes were screened by combined WGCNA, machine learning, and protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks and validated by external validation sets.
Characterization of the semen, gut, and urine microbiota in patients with different semen abnormalities
Tingshuai Cao,Shangren Wang,Yang Pan,Feng Guo,Bin Wu,Yingchun Zhang,Yujie Wang,Jia-Yi Tian,Qingfei Xing,Xiaoqiang Liu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors analyzed the microbiota of the gut, semen, and urine in individuals with semen abnormalities to identify potential probiotics and pathogenic bacteria that affect semen parameters and help develop new methods for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with semen abnormality.
Association between COVID-19 and Male Fertility: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Observational Studies
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper conducted a meta-analysis and systematic review to investigate the effect of COVID-19 on male fertility, and they found that sperm concentration and total motility decreased during recovery for ≥ 90 days.

Genital mycoplasma infection: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Chen Cheng,Xiangyu Chen,Yuxuan Song,Shangren Wang,Yang Pan,Shuai Niu,Rui Wang,Li Li,Xiaoqiang Liu +8 more
TL;DR: This meta-analysis revealed that male infertility was significantly associated with M. urealyticum infections, while U. parvum infection was not strongly associated with male infertility worldwide and provided a basis for future treatment.

Long noncoding RNAs regulated spermatogenesis in varicocele‐induced spermatogenic dysfunction
Shangren Wang,Jiaqi Kang,Yuxuan Song,Aiqiao Zhang,Yang Pan,Yuezheng Li,Shuai Niu,Li Li,Xiaoqiang Liu +8 more
TL;DR: To evaluate the expression, potential functions and mechanisms of long noncoding RNAs in the pathogenesis of varicocele (VC)‐induced spermatogenic dysfunction, a large number of lncRNAs wereexpression-based and mechanisms were evaluated.
