Channel-Aware Frequency Domain Packet Scheduling for MBMS in LTE
Shan Lu,Yi Cai,Li Zhang,Jike Li,Peter Skov,Chunye Wang,Zhiqiang He +6 more
- 26 Apr 2009
TL;DR: Simulations show that comparing to a simple blind FDPS algorithm, the proposed algorithm improves system throughput without sacrificing coverage, and the objective is to optimize system throughput performance while guaranteeing system coverage.

Reduced Feedback Schemes for LTE MBMS
Yi Cai,Shan Lu,Li Zhang,Chunye Wang,Peter Skov,Zhiqiang He,Kai Niu +6 more
- 26 Apr 2009
TL;DR: The proposed schemes to reduce the uplink feedback while maintaining the spectral efficiency are evaluated with long term evolution (LTE) system simulation and it is concluded that using geometry for selecting feedback UEs is the optimal solution and 4 Feedback UEs are enough to meet the coverage requirement.

A Orthogonal Superimposed Pilot for Channel Estimation in MIMO-OFDM systems
Shan Lu,Guixia Kang,Qiqu Zhu,Ping Zhang +3 more
- 22 Apr 2007
TL;DR: A channel estimation method, which is based on orthogonal pilot-constant amplitude zero autocorrelation code (CAZAC) for space-time block code (STBC) OFDM system, has low-complexity and CAZAC codes have the minimum peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR).

Method and system for implementing transmission as well as transmitter
Guixia Kang,Ping Zhang,Qiqu Zhu,Shan Lu,Yu Yang +4 more
- 21 Jan 2009
TL;DR: In this paper, a system and a transmitter are used for realizing transmission, which comprises the following steps: processing the channel-related information from the transmission end so as to acquire the weighted vector of transmission; processing the input signals, so that different antennas can transmit different signals; completing the beam formation of each channel of first signals, completing the OFDM of the channels of forming signals, and the transmission power is optimized according to the feedback information, thus the method improves the selection gain of the antenna used for signal transmission.

A Revenue-Based Low-Delay and Efficient Downlink Scheduling Algorithm in OFDMA Systems
Ruochen Wang,Zhiqiang He,Zheng Sun,Shan Lu,Kai Niu +4 more
- 01 Sep 2008
TL;DR: Simulation results show that the R-LDE algorithm can achieve the most scheduling revenue and performs much better than the algorithms stated before in terms of packet delay and throughput with video traffic at the cost of slight deterioration of FTP traffic performance.
