TL;DR: The XV mafic‐ultramafic intrusion is a Middle Paleozoic intrusive complex in the Central Iranian Micro‐Continent. It exhibits tholeiitic to calc-alkaline affinities and is characterized by enrichment of LILE and LREE relative to HFSE and HREE. The geochemical and isotopic characteristics suggest derivation from a Sub‐ Continental Lithospheric Mantle (SCLM) modified by oceanic slab-derived components.
Physicochemical evolution and mechanism of a skarn system: Insights from the world-class Mazraeh Cu deposit, NW Iran
TL;DR: In this paper , a multi-stage evolution of the hydrothermal system of the Mazraeh Cu skarn is revealed, and it is suggested that boiling and fluid mixing played a significant role in the formation of this giant Cu skaron deposit.
