Optimization on ultrasonic plastic welding systems based on two-dimensional phononic crystal.
TL;DR: Six kinds of ultrasonic plastic welding systems based on 2D PnC with different groove width and height are designed and the results show that the lateral vibration is suppressed when the operating frequency of the ultrasonic Plastic Welding system is within the band gap of the large tool.

Study on the bending vibration of bimorph rectangular transducer based on type 2-2 piezoelectric composites.
TL;DR: In this paper, a bimorph rectangular transducer based on type 2-2 piezoelectric composites is proposed, which is composed of two piezolectric composite rectangular slices with thickness polarization.

Radial vibration analysis for functionally graded ring piezoelectric transducers based on electromechanical equivalent circuit method.
Sha Wang,Junjie Shan,Shuyu Lin +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel functionally graded ring piezoelectric transducer (FG-rPET) has been designed and an accurate analytical system is constructed mainly including a three-port electromechanical equivalent circuit model (EECM) which can acquire exact solutions in radial vibration.

The High-Power Piezoelectric Transformer With Multiple Outputs Based on Sandwiched Piezoelectric Transducers
TL;DR: In this article , a high-power piezoelectric transformer based on the sandwiched transducer with multi-output characteristics was developed, and the output power of the s-PTs can reach at least 45 W and the efficiency of ∼35% under high input electric power.

Multi-mode coupled vibration performance analysis of a radial-longitudinal (R-L) ultrasonic transducer.
TL;DR: In this article, a radial-longitudinal (R-L) ultrasonic transducer is designed by compounding a piezoelectric ceramic and an outer metal ring on the central coupling cylinder of a longitudinal cascade transducers, which is used to realize multi-mode vibration and increase the radiation range.
